One of the most effective ways in which the Knights of Columbus has helped thousands of women save their children is through its Ultrasound Initiative. Foundations of Life Pregnancy Center, a ministry of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of St. Petersburg has the opportunity to purchase a mobile ultrasound van.

Foundations of Life Pregnancy Center will use its custom designed Mobile Ultrasound Van to provide FREE on site Ultrasound and Pregnancy Tests with Life Options counseling. The Van will assist reaching into the community to offer help and hope to those experiencing the difficulties of pregnancy and those who may be considering abortion. Outreach to colleges, schools, churches and community fairs will also be provided.

Region 4 Knights need to raise $60,000 to purchase the van and then Knights Supreme Council will contribute $34,000 to the ultrasound machine for the mobile unit. This is a great opportunity for Knights in the Diocese of St. Petersburg to help protect the lives of the preborn by supporting Foundations of Life.

Reaching our goal will require far and wide support. All Knights of Columbus Councils, Assemblies, and member Knights are encouraged to contribute towards the funding goal! Please socialize this program with your parish's leaders and all of your pro-life acquaintances.
