Keep Christ in Christmas Poster Contest

KCIC Poster Contest

The Knights of Columbus Keep Christ in Christmas Poster Contest for 2025 is here!

What is the Contest About?
Briefly, participating boys and girls in grades Kindergarten through 8th Grade create a 11x17 poster with the theme "Keep Christ in Christmas." They should be original works of an individual person. The posters (due by 12/23/2025) will be judged under the following criteria:
  • Slogan - How clearly is the theme presented?
  • Visuals - How well do the visuals convey the message?
  • Overall Impact - How effective was the poster in capturing your attention and causing you to reflect on the topic?

How do I Apply?
Or, you can pick up a hard copy application (and blank 11x17” paper) after each mass at the “Keep Christ in Christmas” table by the main church entrance during the weekend of 11/29 & 11/30. Blank applications and poster paper are located in the display boxes in the parish hall and church narthex (See following photos). Contest rules are on the reverse side of the application form.

Where do I submit the Completed Posters?
Posters with completed and signed applications attached can be dropped off at two locations (Please be sure to write the child’s name and grade on the reverse side of the poster, in the event the form gets separated):
  1. The display box in the parish hall foyer.
  2. The display box in the church narthex, from December 1-22, 2025.

Besides the above 15 gift card winners, all entries are winners! We will also arrange for the completed posters to be displayed in the Parish Center through Epiphany. Last year, we displayed all these submitted posters to show the true meaning of Christmas!

What Happens to the Posters after Epiphany?

After this Christmas season ends, we will provide the posters to various Assisted Living Facilities to display in their facilities next Christmas. Some seniors are currently enjoying your posters from last year!

Our Council would love to have our youth spend some time and effort to recognize the true meaning of Christmas, and we are praying this contest assists in that focus!
